NAA Provides Hurricane Resources
In the wake of unprecedented levels of flooding in both North Carolina and South Carolina, NAA has been taking steps to aid its members and affiliates affected by this devastating storm, including making a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross in both North Carolina and South Carolina to assist with Florence relief efforts.
As you are aware, Hurricane Florence has caused unprecedented levels of flooding in both North and South Carolina. As the recovery effort continues, I wanted to take the time to reassure you that NAA has been taking steps to aid its members and affiliates affected by this devastating storm.
In advance of Florence making landfall, we reached out with calls of assistance to our affiliates in the areas at risk and our homepage banner content was updated to point to resources housed in NAA’s Emergency and Disaster Library. Additionally, we shared hurricane tips on social media and included a story on how preparations helped Houston owners before Hurricane Harvey last year.
The Triangle Apartment Association also has a storm resource page. NAA continues to offer its assistance to affiliates in the affected areas. Updates will be communicated through NAA’s website, social media channels and direct messaging, regarding units affected.
NAA is making $10,000 donations to the American Red Cross for both North Carolina and South Carolina relief efforts.
If you're interested in helping, please consider a monetary donation to the Red Cross. To give to Florence relief efforts, text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 to American Red Cross Disaster Relief or visit The American Red Cross.
